P.M.
My name is “P.M.” and I recently attended a dispatch school in — –. To make a long story short, my experience was horrible and they are pushing me to take my practical exam, which I do not currently feel as though I am ready to take. I am concerned at the lack of instruction that was given on weather and navigation as these seem to be a key to dispatching and feel that even if I was to pass my exam, that I would fail as a dispatcher in the real world. I am fairly adept at manual flight planning and can spin winds and such, I just think that weather is a little bit more important than one hour in a (long) class. I guess my question is, I passed my (ADX) exam and would like to do a class for the practical that includes meteorology. I need to know where I have to go to do this and what I have to pay. I am not quitting because of the failure of one school…I want this license. So…if you could give me any advice… I would be grateful.
Thanks
P.M.
