Aviation Job Given to Actor Harrison Ford
Actor Harrison Ford is a man of many talents; including saving the world as Indiana Jones and winning the hearts of many as Han Solo in Star Wars. Before his recent publicity of landing his vintage airplane on a golf course after reporting engine failure, many Harrison Ford fans did not know that the American actor and film producer is an aviation enthusiast.
National Geographic recently announced that avid pilot Harrison Ford will be narrating their upcoming aviation film Living in the Age of Airplanes. The documentary was filmed in 18 countries and took a little over six months to film. The film’s objective is to take the audience through the history of flight.
The documentary will highlight how aviation has changed the world in the last century, and who better to narrate than an airplane lover like Harrison Ford.
The film was produced and directed by Brian J. Terwilliger of One Six Right, and features an original score by Academy Award winning composer James Horner (Avatar and Titanic).
The film is set to premier on Wednesday, April 8th, at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC – open to the public on April 10th in IMAX theaters.
