If you are considering a career change but don’t have the time to go back to school, our aeronautical school can help!
Sheffield School of Aeronautics has been helping individuals become aircraft dispatchers for over 65 years. Recognized as the oldest and most reputable aircraft dispatching school in the world, our students not only meet, but EXCEED FAA regulations.
Our aviation school has released a distance learning program that allows students to complete an online aircraft dispatching class without the commitment of going to class. Our distance learning program is an accelerated course (Phase 1) that is followed by a required one-week residency (Phase 2), following completion of the online course.
The benefits to enrolling in an online aircraft dispatching class, is that there is no physical commitment to attending a course. Most aircraft dispatch schools require students to attend class Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At Sheffield School of Aeronautics, until the Phase 2 Residency, online students have the flexibility to attend class whenever they have the time.
Some cons for enrolling in our online aircraft dispatching class, are that students are given access to Phase 1 for four months – if you do not complete the coursework in the four months, additional months must be added at $400 per month. Sheffield only recommends VERY disciplined individuals to enroll in this course, as all assignments must be completed in a timely fashion and overdue assignments will not be accepted.
As with any certification program for aircraft dispatching, you will obtain what you put in. If you are not responsible enough to outline what assignments and tests are due on which dates, you may end up spending $300 for a course you don’t take. However, if you are disciplined, completing an online aircraft dispatching class could save you time and jumpstart your new aviation career!
