The Growth of Aviation
Someone once asked, “What would you attempt if you knew you couldn’t fail?”
The ability to foresee the future would allow many people to deter from things we know would not work, but how would that make us any better? Would you structure your business plan differently if you knew of some epic change? Adam Pilarski, senior vice president of Avitas, a full service aviation consulting company, believes that through understanding global climate politically, socially and economically, and by using basic economics, he can predict future aviation trends.
Pilarski, who spoke at the Aviation Suppliers Association conference in Scottsdale, AZ on June 8, says, “If you know the world economy, you will know world passenger traffic.”
Pilarski believes that by utilizing predictive behavior and economics, MRO [aviation based maintenance, repair, and overhaul] companies can grow based on upcoming events. Some examples that Pilarski examined were that:
By following these trends and tragedies, aviation companies can help structure better courses of action to increase sales and reduce loss. These changes are also important for any career in aviation, as it can help reduce job loss and increase career growth.
