Can I Bring Lysol Wipes on a Plane?

If you are going to be flying on a commercial flight anytime soon, you may be wondering if you are allowed to bring certain hygienic or cleaning products with you on your flights. This might include hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, or even Lysol wipes. These are useful for keeping yourself clean and even ensuring the safety of other guests on the flight. As one of the most experienced aircraft dispatching schools, Sheffield School of Aeronautics is here to explain what you can expect for your upcoming flight. Can I bring Lysol wipes on a plane? Continue reading below to learn more.

Can I Bring Clorox Wipes on a Plane?

Clorox wipes are an extremely popular product that includes some sort of disinfectant soaked onto a paper towel. The good news is that Clorox wipes are not prohibited on flights. In fact, Clorox wipes are allowed on carry-on bags, no matter how much the person is carrying. There are strict rules regarding the amount of liquid you could bring on planes, but this does not apply to Clorox wipes, even though they are soaked in disinfectant liquid. The same regulations exist for checked-in bags since there is no liquid, so this means that carrying Clorox wipes carries no issue in your future flight plans. The only roadblock comes with bringing liquid on a plane.

Can I Bring Baby Wipes on Planes?

Like Clorox wipes, baby wipes are soaked in liquid and not liquid themselves, which means that there are no maximum amounts of baby wipes that you could bring with you on your flight. The same goes for any kind of disinfectant wipe that you are considering bringing on a plane. So, can you take hand sanitizer wipes on a plane? The answer is yes. Just make sure that your bag does not surpass the allotted weight limit, which varies from airline to airline, and the kind of seating that you have purchased.

Can I Bring Disinfectant Spray on an Airplane?

For those asking this question, they should understand that this varies greatly from baby wipes because disinfectant spray is inherently a liquid. This means that the amount of liquids on your person should not exceed 3.4 ounces. If the amount that you are carrying exceeds this number, be sure to pack these larger sizes into your checked luggage.
