Aircraft Dispatching Certificate Online

With the growing popularity of distance-learning, Sheffield School of Aeronautics has created an aircraft dispatching certificate online.

The online aircraft dispatching course was created for students that do not have the time to attend a full residency course. While this online aircraft dispatching class is designed for students abroad, there are no restrictions on location for those who would like to enroll.

Our online aircraft dispatching courses are offered throughout the year and cost $3000 in tuition. If you are considering enrolling in our online course, Sheffield recommends that the students be extremely disciplined as overdue assignments are not accepted under any circumstance.

The online curriculum consist of two phases; an online distance-learning phase and a one week residency phase. Phase 1 takes place completely online and takes 3-4 months, on average, to complete. Phase one is meant to teach the student everything they need to know about aircraft dispatching; including, and not limited to: meteorology, weather reports, navigation, airport regulations, flight planning, etc.  

After successful completion of Phase 1, the student will enroll in our residency program. The residency program is 5 days, 8 hours per day; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour lunch break. This section of the course will review all regulations and material learned in Phase 1 as well as testing, manual flight planning, and a practical examination.
