Subject: I got hired
Hi Eric,
I don't know if you remember me or not but you helped me refresh my
dispatcher memory back in March of this year when I had an interview
with..United Parcel Service. I was not initially offered a position
but they called me last week and have hired me. I begin on Sept the
5th in Louisville, Ky.
I wanted to send you an email and thank
you again for all the information that you supplied me with prior to
my interview...I appreciate everything you did. Thanks for all your
help!!

Subject: Got a job..
Hi Eric,
Just wanted to tell you how much Sheffield
School helped me in getting a job. It was tough and
demanding, and has given me the confidence to know if I could get through
that, I have the abilities to learn a new job. Without that currency,
I'm not sure if I would have been hired. I know it helped when I told
them how well I had done in the course, showing I could learn more new
things with this job. I've been hired, as a contractor, for Eclipse
Aviation to set up their Flight Support
Department. ...I fully plan on (using) the information
I learned in the course and applying it to set up their department.
I realize 121 is significantly different than 91 (especially on the
operational control), but it gives me a great background to help develop
their program. Knowing how to break down a flight plan manually is invaluable
for understanding a computerized system. It really helps to know what
the computer is actually calculating. Brett was also a wealth of knowledge
on the weather. I definitely know more than when I came into the course.
Thanks!!

Hi Eric,
Hope all is well there at the school. Just wanted to send you a brief
email to let you know where I'm at right now. After I left Sheffield
I spent 2 happy years at Eujet.... right now I'm at Antonov Airlines
working in the flight planning dept and I really like it. The aircraft
are amazing and the area of operation is literally global, there's nowhere
we won't go! We have the only operational AN-225 in the world and it
has the world record for largest payload ever airborne..253,000 kgs,
incredible. You know there was only one
position available and out of over 100 applicants I landed it. Most
of the interview was spent discussing topics widely covered on the course
at Sheffield and I've not doubt whatsoever that it was this that pulled
me through. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks
for running such a great school. Big hello to the rest of the guys
there.

Eric,
It sure is difficult to believe it was a year ago I drove away from
FLL with my temporary certificate neatly folded and proudly stowed in
my wallet. It's been a great ride since then, and I am really enjoying
the career.
I am curious about availability for the 9 April one-day ETOPS class.
This isn’t “company directed”, but for my own personal
training. It also happens to fall on a day off, and I’d love to
jumpseat down on JetBlue and attend.
Either way, please pass to Brett and the rest of the staff my continuing
gratitude for my Sheffield experience. The
school’s reputation served to get my foot in the door, and the
quality of training serves me to this day.
Thanks,
Justin S.

Thanks for your acceptance (into your accelerated course)! I'm working
on passing the ADX right now. (My goal is 95+%.) Your online info is
great- I was working on the whole 1700+ (and still will), but will concentrate
more heavily on the 537+ that you recommend. I am still waiting on a
possible interview with a company, that will decide if I definitely
go for my Dispatcher training, but as soon as I find out - you will
definitely be the school I will be signing up with. Will be back to
you as soon as I know a little more.
I did a lot of research looking at all
different schools and Sheffield definitely seems to teach more of a
'real world' experience. I'm not looking for just certification, I want
to take the knowledge and be able to apply it in a real environment.
Looking forward to signing up with your school shortly!

Dear Eric,
Greetings from an old friend! I’m currently working at AirTran
Airways and have been here for the past 3 years. I’m loving every
minute of it. It’s a great company and my
training at Sheffield has served me very well. This is the 3rd airline
job that I’ve held and Sheffield has commanded a tremendous
amount of respect everywhere I’ve been.

"When
I mentioned that I was looking into dispatch, the
only school that was mentioned by ALL dispatchers I work with
was SHEFFIELD and ONLY Sheffield. I heard nothing but
great things about this school from previous students. I can now say
without a doubt, Sheffield is "topshelf."
I have already and will continue to recommend Sheffield to others!

Dear Sheffield,
I would like to thank your school and in special you Brett for a very
fine training were we have learned a lot of very interesting Dispatch

part 65 Dispatch Training. We all enjoyed the lesson, had fun and learned
a lot! I sure will recommend your school!!
Thanks again,

Dear Eric, Katja & Brett,
Thank you all once again, for your support
and knowledge on what has to be the best aviation course I have attended
to date. The materials and structure were excellent and you have
a great Instructor in Brett.
I believe from speaking to my friend ..., that EasyJet
are now attending your course, with ... due to fly out in April. Finally,
on behalf of myself and MyTravel Airways,
I would like to take this opportunity in wishing you great success for
the future.
Best Regards
Dave R.

Hello All, how is everything going? I spoke with (PJ) the other week
and it sounds like most everyone has a job now. ..I came back from the
course and took the test to become an Army pilot. The
course helped me out a lot on passing the test, I should be a prime
candidate for flight school. ...Thank you for the help
and tell Brett I said hello and thank you for an enjoyable time at class.
