"I
want to thank you guys again for giving me the best training available.
I feel confident that I could work for any airline in the world - guaranteed."
P.D. Sep-Oct 99 graduate

"The
Morris Family and Sheffield School have been in Aviation longer than
any other school around. My classmates who are now working as dispatchers
have told me that they know more and are better
trained than other dispatchers from other schools. Sheffield
does not in anyway just "crank-out" dispatchers; you will have to work
very hard. If you want to be a Dispatcher, go to the best school,
SHEFFIELD."
T.L.,
Sheffield Graduate, 12/2/97

For:
Hiring
Managers at Operational Control Centers and Flight Control (Dispatch)
offices around the world.
Objectives:
To
facilitate and expedite communications with Sheffield School
of Aeronautics as well as to provide the largest, and most qualified
pool of Aircraft Dispatcher graduates to the hiring airlines.
POST
A JOB: If you would like to contact our school to
inform us that job opportunities are available at your airline,
feel free to call, fax, e-mail, or fill in the form boxes below
to expedite the entire locate & hire process. We will upload
your data (usually within 24 hrs) into a password-protected web
site for our graduates to view.
SEARCH
RÉSUMÉS: We are also producing a page
for you to view our graduates résumés, letters, and
other background information.
Scroll to form.
BRIDGE
PROGRAM: Lately, due to the dismal performance of
many non-Sheffield dispatcher graduates either in pre-employment
interviews or during the 3-6 month probation period following initial
hire, more airlines have approached Sheffield School to arrange
a bridge-hiring program. Candidates are sent by an airline directly
to Sheffield for certification following successful interviews and
meeting pre-certification qualifications within the airline. We
can also supply a vast amount of pre-study material to facilitate
the students' learning.
INTERVIEWS:
Interviews at our school are always welcome. Contact us anytime.
Our
school not only produces the greatest quantity of Aircraft
Dispatcher graduates, but our reputation for consistent quality
of education is outstanding. Sheffield has not rested on our
worldwide reputation, but have over the last few years developed
an unparalleled array of interactive teaching tools which will
redefine the way this course will be taught in the future. Not
only have we recently added our 3rd flight planning engine to
our course, but we utilize Aircraft Situation Display
in our presentations. |

We
are now developing methods to integrate the aforementioned trio
of teaching tools into our curriculum to expose our students to
a higher dose of reality and further narrow the transitional gap
between ab initio training and airline initial/OJT training. Feel
free to browse our newsletter
during the next few months for updates. This innovative approach
is what we try to instill to our students - to think ahead, anticipate,
and be creative.

We
have six 6-week
classes per year along
with special airline classes occasionally and accelerated classes.
You can check the links for graduation
dates. We usually emphasize to our students to prepare
their résumés at their own computer workstation during
the first week of class. Upon request, they can e-mail, fax, or
send their résumés to you. We have created a Graduate
Cover letter/Résumé data base for you to browse
through if that is what you prefer; however, there are times when
our graduates are hired quickly and there will only be 3-10 résumés
online at one time. You can fill in any pertinent data in the forms,
and everything will be set up expeditiously.
We
believe this convenient interactivity will help not only our graduates
find employment quickly, but will reduce the glut of initial training
washout and failed line checks that costs the airlines valuable
time and money. Sheffield does not believe in the ever popular "minimalist"
approach to training, but prepares our students for airline initial
training (reality) as well.
