Just
a short note to let you all know that my decision to enroll with Sheffield
was one of the wisest decisions I've ever made. "Drinking from a fire
hose" is the only phrase that captures the pace and depth of your
accelerated program! Fort Lauderdale's great beaches? Only saw those
at night and during departure from FLL. Nevertheless, despite the
long hours and tons of material (I'm still trying to get the 727 numbers
out of my head in preparation for my 707 flight check!), I thoroughly
enjoyed my time at Sheffield. You have a fine school with great instructors
and I am proud to say that I am glad to be a Sheffield graduate. The
Accelerated course, Advanced International Flight Planning, and ETOPS
courses are a must for any prospective military students, but I must
say that my decision to extend my leave and take EWINS was worth everything...In
fact, I learned so much about weather that I find myself teaching
other people!! Imagine the looks of disbelief as I explained the effects
of mountain wave turbs to an office full of non-aviating types-standing
lenwho? I'm turning into a weather geek! Anyway, Thanks again for
everything. I am now certain that my experience, education, and the
Sheffield name on my résumé and are going to land me
a great dispatching job. For all prospective dispatch students, I
can only offer one word in advice .... attitude. It will make you
