"I want to thank you guys again for giving me the best training available. I feel confident that I could work for any airline in the world - guaranteed."
P.D. Sep-Oct 99 graduate

Delta operations control center

"The Morris Family and Sheffield School have been in Aviation longer than any other school around. My classmates who are now working as dispatchers have told me that they know more and are better trained than other dispatchers from other schools. Sheffield does not in anyway just "crank-out" dispatchers; you will have to work very hard. If you want to be a Dispatcher, go to the best school, SHEFFIELD."

"I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH WHAT WHAT YOUR WEBSITE COVERS AND WHAT YOUR SCHOOL HAS TO OFFER. I HAVE HAD MY MIND MADE UP ON ATTENDING (another school), BUT YOU HAVE CHANGED MY MIND WITH ALL THE INFO YOU SUPPLY ON YOUR WEBSITE, GOOD JOB!!!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME."

We do not believe in spending 3 to 6 weeks of a 6-week course preparing our students for a standardized test. Standardized tests serve a purpose, but the purpose IS NOT to instruct an individual concerning practical application of real-world dispatcher skills. We also don't believe you should pay a high amount of your tuition fee for this type of preparation, whether it is $200, $500, $2,000, or nearly $4,000. You can purchase books and compact disks these days for under $30 to help you get started if you'd like. You can use our free materials for printing and take our free online practice tests if you'd like, whether you attend Sheffield School or not. This should provide enough testimony to you about us. We will fine tune your FAA test prep skills while you attend our school during the first 5-8 days for approximately 8-10 "Workshop" instructional hours, but the tuition you pay to attend Sheffield School of Aeronautics is DEVOTED to maximizing your exposure to real-world dispatch instruction, application, and preparation. This is why airlines prefer our graduates.

We recommend the GLEIM ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) test preparation book. The title is ATP; however, the book also contains ADX test questions since the ATP and ADX tests are virtually the same. Part of the Aircraft Dispatcher licensing requirements is to pass (> 70%) the Aircraft Dispatcher (ADX) Knowledge exam. A passed ATP exam is of no use to the individual applying for an Aircraft Dispatcher license.

View and print some of the actual FAA ADX test preparation handouts used in our course!

Print our PDF study files: we have many handouts that are used by students to help them prepare for the FAA ADX Knowledge examination. Many are listings of approximately 500+ question numbers that should be focused on when studying from the GLEIM test preparation book. The actual 80-question ADX test usually taps into this question pool. Nothing is guaranteed, but instead of studying the ENTIRE 1,700+ questions in the GLEIM book, we feel your time is best spent focusing on what has historically been the most often used questions. One handout is a listing of approximately 260 popular questions (which do not require a reference manual) and their respective correct answers. These are questions that require memorization - not graphing, calculating, or tabulating; therefore, typically, no references required. These questions are already within the 500+ questions. They are not additional questions. You need to study approximately 500+ total questions, not 260 total questions. If you feel you need to study the entire bank of 1,700+ questions or would like to browse through them, these handouts are also provided. We wish you the best of luck in your studies. If you see any errors or inconsistencies (because Q and A sometimes change), please let us know. We appreciate your feedback. E-mail us

NOTE: Study the answers, not whether it is "a" or "b" or "c." The order of the answer choices occasionally changes.
